If you need to find more information about ferrets on the Internet, there are three good areas to search.

  1. The first places I usually search are Ferret Databases (see below). These are archives of mailing lists, newsletters and articles. Most information in the databases is from ferret owners. I find these helpful when I want to do a search for what other people's experiences have been in a particular area, medical or other.

  2. Newsgroups and Ferret Bulletin Boards are other good places to visit. Newsgroups are topic specific public bulletin boards on the web where anybody can post or answer a question. Click here for more information on these.

  3. Then of course, there is the entire World Wide Web! I've written a Quick Guide To Doing A Search On The Web. If you're not familiar with search engines and how to use them this a good place to start.
